Another UK Government “IT Glitch” Wipes Inconvenient Treasury Texts from Over 100 Phones

In this post, Chris Dale reminds all those who might find themselves "inconvenient victims" of "IT glitches" once thier texts, emails or other data becomes the subject of an investigation or inquiry.  Since most do not enjoy the same powers as various UK government officials, one must take great care to understand the retention and deletion features of the various devices and apps used before laying bare any ignorance on the subject before a court or regulator.  Continue reading
